As the town of flowers, she’s from, Silvia Uzcanga adds beauty and delight to all she touches. Growing up in Xochimilco, an area of Mexico City, Silvia remembers fondly the scents emanating from the canals as boats adorned with glorious woven flowers paraded for others to enjoy. I first met Photographer John on a friend’s boat where he had done a great deal of mechanical work and we were invited on the sea trial voyage.
