You will see pretty much every kind of instrument played; from a washboard and a squeezebox on up. We enjoy world famous artists; wonderful guitarists and drummers make up local bands while we also hear incredible saxophones and fiddles by world-renowned musicians who often play for the simple joy. Oh, and the voices; we also enjoy great singers too.

Mexican Fisherman, Jesus My favourite thing about living in an ‘away-land’ is that I get to meet a variety of people from all walks of life. During our second year in La Cruz we met a fabulous Mexican fisherman and ocean tour operator, Jesus; pronounced ‘Hey-zuice’. He and his son, also Jesus, took Chris, me and four others to the Marieta Islands where we delighted in seeing the Blue footed booby bird and we got to swim in a crater. Fisherman Danny Gomez is passionate about helping his clients catch and bring home fish!! I first met Danny Gomez and his beautiful wife at a dinner party at our house when mutual clients were staying at our Inn and fishing with Danny on his fishing vessel, Dhamar. Since then those same guests have come back and hired Danny again. They also won a tournament with him in San Blas a couple of years ago, the prize was a car!!
